Smith, Putnam, & Trousdale counties must pick up and drop off their dogs at our location.

What is the cost to have my dog
picked up and dropped off at one of the
locations listed? It costs $5 each way for a
total of $10. So if your total bill was $160.
The total cost including the pick up and drop
off would be $170.
Will you pick up and drop off my dog at
my house? Special arrangements can be
made if the above times and locations do
not work for you. Special pick up and drop
off prices vary according to your location.
Do you do pick up and drop off on Sundays?
No we do not. Sunday is our day "off" from
driving. If you would like to come and get
your dog, you are welcome.
I get home on a Saturday and I don't want to come out and get my dog...will I be charged?
No. If you get home on a Saturday evening or Sunday morning before 11am and do not want to
come and get your dog(s) You will not be charged for Sunday. If you get home between 11am -5pm
you will be charged a half day rate of $15. If you get home Sunday evening..it is the full rate of
$30 or accordingly depending on the number of dogs that you board at one time. Weekend dogs
are returned Monday morning unless you drive out and get them on Sunday.
Do you pick up dogs at the above locations more than once per day?
No. We only come to the above areas once per day. We charge accordingly. For Example:
If you drop your dog off in the morning and are not leaving until the evening...you will only be
charged a half day rate.
Do the dogs ride in cages during the transportation?
No. All dogs have a seatbelt that secures them in our van so that they can't try to drive. Some
smaller dogs may be crated depending on what dogs are riding in the van that day.
Please do not feed your dogs the day that they are going to be traveling in the van. If you dog
get anxious or sick from travel, we recommend Rescue Remedy Spray. It works great!
If I want to pick up or drop off my dog at your location, what are your hours for that?
Our hours for pick up and drop off are 6am to just before dusk ... Monday thru Sunday. You must
have an appointment in order to pick up or drop off your dog. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY
DROP OFFS AFTER DARK. No exceptions.
What happens if I am late for my pick up time? You must call us and tell us you are going to
be late. 615-335-1740. We wait approx. 15 minutes for any late pick up or drop off. If we
do not hear from you, we go to our next stop and then to Almost Home Pet Farm. It is your
responsibility to make other arrangements for transporting your dog(s) to Almost Home Pet Farm.
What if the pick up locations and times do not work for me?
If you have a special pick up and drop off need, please send us an email or call and we will try to
work with you.
Weekend Schedule Saturday Pick up and Drop off: Lebanon & I-40 Exit 238 only. Exit #238, go right, left at Pilot and left of the carwash.
Sunday Pick up and Drop off: We do not operate the shuttle on Sundays. You are always welcome to come out and get your dog(s). All dogs that are not picked up on Sunday will be dropped off at your requested location on Monday morning. Sunday Fee Schedule: (rates based on what time you return home)
Return Saturday: No Charge Return Sunday Before 10 am: No Charge Return Sunday After 10:30 am: $15 Return Sunday After 5:30 pm: $30 (rates double for multiple dogs)
