"I recommend Almost Home Pet Farm to dog owners who are looking for fresh air, a home environment and love for their dogs. I have an expensive (and much loved!)dog, and I trust them whole heartedly. Sam, always looks so happy to see Rita when she takes him! And Sam comes back looking happy and healthy." --Ruth Ward, Bellevue, Tn
Pepper was very unlike she was anytime we left her in the kennel. She was serene, not hyper, not hoarse, and instead of running for her spot on the sofa as soon as she was into the house and sleeping all day, she wanted to play and was very much part of our doings on Sunday. Thank you for taking such good care of her. Hope to see you this weekend at the show. More later, Marj -Nashville, Tn
Just wanted to thank you again for caring for Blaze and B.G. They arrived home happy, healthy, and TIRED! B.G. slept like a rock from the moment we got home (noonish) until 7:30 the next morning, budging only for dinner and a trip outside. I have never seen anything like it. He wasn't even interested in our dinner. Blaze was a bit perkier, but not much. The best part, though, was that the next day as we walked past our two neighbor German Shepherds, B.G. looked them straight in the eye and walked confidently past (normally his tail goes between his legs, he ducks his head, and he tries to walk as far away as possible. Best wishes for a happy healthy year ahead. We hope we can send the boys your way the next time we head out of town. Thanks, Marcy
| I don't know who had a better vacation, my mom and I on the coast of Maine or Louie, my 8 year old poodle at the "Almost Home Pet Farm". I called to check on Louie during the middle of his stay since it was his first "vacation" there, Rita told me all about how Louie was spending his time. He and the pug became buddies and he also made friends with the new kitty. She told me that he went on a bit of a hunger strike, which is normal for him when I'm not around, but it was nothing that a little organic chicken broth poured over his food wouldn't fix. Sleeping in bed with who ever will let him just topped off his day. I am truly excited about finding this loving environment for my dog when I'm away. | "Thank you for taking such good care of our babies. We are very particular about where we leave them. I had apprehension, at first, to leave them with people that I had not personally met or investigated. In this case, there was no need. When we came to pick up Bodie and Harlie, I could tell that they had had a blast with you, at Almost Home. You have a wonderful establishment and I have told friends and colleagues of our wonderful experience." -Lesa Frady and Noelle Oliver -Nashville, Tn |

My dogs are my babies and quite honestly everything revolves around them. I investigate boarding facilities seriously and carefully. My canines have lived in several states and visited some of the countries hottest pet boarding spots- Almost Home is on this list! They both know Rita by name and when they hear her name, the tags start wagging and the excitement grows. They hop into her car heading off to their vacation and don’t look back. After visiting there myself, I knew intuitively this was it- the perfect spot and people to look after my dogs when I travel- I wish I could stay there too sometime! They come back clean, happy and exhausted. Hats off to Rita and all she does. -Cassie Aiken, Hot Yoga
