| Holistic kennel free boarding We run a holistic boarding facility. We practice truly positive methods of training and canine interaction, we filter all of our water, we promote a natural diet for our canine friends, and we don't use any toxic chemicals and cleaners in any part of our facility. We focus on a kennel free environment so that each dog can be treated as an individual and choose what they would like to do with their day. We have a huge yard and lots of wooded trails for fun and exercise. At Almost Home, each dog is treated as an individual and given the attention they deserve. Romping & Relaxation Almost Home Dogs sleep where they sleep at home...in the bed, on the wood floor, in one of our dog beds, on the couch, in the chair, or in their crate. (Owner must provide crate) We mimic your dogs specified home environment as well as your home rules...this applies to furniture, treats, and obedience commands. Romping and socializing occur outside, or in, depending on the size of your dog and their level of socialization. Extra small dogs spend alot of time in laps or in our art studio with our potter, Maureen. They love taking naps to the sound of the potters wheel. Our home is air conditioned and has many good spots for alone time, napping, playing with toys, constructive chewing or being with people. Outside is a place for playing hard, self-expression, sun-bathing on the porch, dreaming, or just plain hanging out with one's self or others. |

| CONCERNING ESCAPE ARTISTS: If you have a dog that consistently gets out of confined areas, please DO NOT attempt to board them at our facility. Dogs are living and breathing creatures with minds of their own. If they are determined to get out of a confined area, they will find a way or hurt themselves trying. Thank you. |
| Requirements -All dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered. No exceptions. -All dogs must be non-aggressive. -All dogs must be potty trained. -We do not board Rottweilers, Pit Bulls (includes 50/50 mixes) American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs,Bull Terriers and Boxers. -All dogs must be vaccinated for rabies, parvo and distemper. We also accept titers. -All dogs must be on some flea/tick prevention program. Holistic remedies are accepted and encouraged. No flea collars accepted. -All dogs and owners must make an initial visit to Almost Home Pet Farm for an interview with their dog(s) before any reservation will be accepted.
